Suicide prevention starts with awareness

Did you know that in 2012, 22 veterans and active service members died by suicide every day? More than anything, VetFest is an event benefitting 22Kill-an organization dedicated to raising awareness and combatting suicide by empowering veterans, first responders and their families through both traditional and non-traditional therapies.

Through this gathering, we make it our mission to:

Foster understanding, compassion and care in the veteran community.
Connect veterans and first responders with others who understand what they might be going through.
Provide crucial mental health and suicide prevention resources for veterans and first responders.
